Installation process for Driclad above ground pools

Planning & Permits

Evaluate where you are going to build your Driclad pool. Ensure the pool you select is the right choice for your property. You will need to obtain a permit from your local council. Insurance should also be arranged. If you need assistance with the permit process Driclad can assist with recommending a professional provider to assist with the permit application process.

Setting out

Now it is time to start preparing for the build of your new pool. Your new pool should be positioned on your land in line with your approved building permit. Depending on your finish type (partially in ground or fully in ground) excavation may be required.

Building pool structure and fitting plumbing

Once your site is prepared now you are ready to build your Driclad pool kit. The first step is building the long post foundation system, along with wall posts. Next comes the wall, follow but fitting the liner. The pool decks are next on followed by plumbing your pool with skimmer box, pump and filter.

Above Ground, Partially In ground or In ground

Driclad pools are built with Australian produced, BlueScope Steel and are designed to provide a high degree of versatility in build options, from above ground, partially in ground to a full in ground finish.

Available in a range of shapes and sizes

Driclad pools are available in 4 main shapes, including round, oval, lap and square end. All designed to give you maximum flexibility. We even have a deep end option with our Orca and Shoreline oval pools.

Perfect DIY project

Each Driclad pool comes with easy to follow installation guide. In addition, we also provide a comprehensive installation video, step-by-step guide via our Driclad YouTube Channel. But if you are looking for a “do it for me” solution we are happy to recommend one of our installers.
